I love that strategy! Forget the dirty house, have a cookie. I would totally hold back any criticism or judgment of someone’s dirty house if they gave me one of those cookies … or any cookie.

for as much as i love all things almond, i can’t believe i’ve never made those cookies. sometimes i wonder why my brain does what it does. ah ha ha! making cookies instead of cleaning = the most excellent & tasty choice, Cyn. damn, those cookies looks super stellar. huzzah!

YES! Use the old ‘dessert distraction’ technique. That is an old favorite in this house, if their eyes linger too long on the pile of dirty dishes or the mounds of dirty laundry….just shove a vegan cheesecake under their nose and they forget all about it! These look stunning!

I love those almond cookies, they are so delicious. Have you tried transforming them into ice cream sandwiches using the Green Tea Ice Cream recipe from Veganomicon? It is wonderful…but certainly better during the summer, though!
