This is one of my favorite comfort foods! I love cabbage too and I always have a little extra hanging out in my crisper after using it for other recipes (ever noticed how recipes rarely call for a full head?). So this is what I typically do with the leftovers.

i keep forgetting about cabbage. i feel like such a jerk. it’s not that i don’t love it, i just always pass over it at my csa (it just doesn’t scream out at me for some reason) and forget to grab a head ‘o cabbage yumminess. poor cabbage! i love your idea to saute it for a bit before stirring so that some of it browns up. awesome! i’m with ya on the crispy-chewy tofu texture being the best – it’s got the best mouth feel, fo ‘sho! totally gonna have to make some kinda tofu stir-fry, and next week i’m going to try and remember to get a head ‘o cabbage, too! thanks, Cyn!

Cabbage has been sorely missing from my life lately. Don’t know why, cause I love it! This sounds great.
