Maybe because some people *do* put eggs in waffles? My dad always did/does, except when he’s making waffles with yeasted pancake batter.

These sound so good and I have them on my to-make-from-VB list (which is way too long!). Unfortunately, I gotta invest in a new waffle iron first…mine has seen better days.

sweet bready breakfast foods = the best ever! oh, i found the recipe for the zucchini muffins online from google books (they had a preview and it was one of the recipes featured). totally gonna try and make some for my parents this weekend and try making a few gluten-free for myself! oh my gosh, those waffles sound sooo gooooood! isn’t it hilarious how people get all funny about vegan foodz – it’s kinda frustrating at times, but mostly it just makes me want to kind laugh at them! ahahhhaaa! silly omnis! ahahahahaa! oh yeah, and hooray for hello kitty! i love her the mostest!

Hello Kitty + Food = awesome!
Yeah, I don’t really get this odd train of throught where waffles have to be egg based. I’m sure when I made waffles before I became vegan I never put eggs in them. It’s all very odd.
I want your waffle iron though… I’m sorry, but it’s just too awesome.

Hello Kitty waffles, how cute! Those waffles sound amazing!!! Those are DEFNITELY on my list of VB recipes to try. I’ve never had peanut butter waffles before, which is surprising cause I’m addicted to peanut butter. The first time I made vegan waffles I was so surprised at how good they were! The are just as good, if not better, than non-vegan waffles.

I made the peanut butter waffles as pancakes (I have done that to a lot of waffle recipes, it’s just easier, and I love pancakes!) and they were great!
